Joint Performances June 2008 This month the HYC took part in two joint ventures with Billingham Oratorio Choir. We performed Pergolesi's Magnificat and Rossini's Petit Messe Solenelle. The Training Choir performed the Daniel Jazz. Everyone involved had a great time, and we look forward to working together more in the future!

Middlesbrough Competitive Festival March 7th 2008 Once again, the Training Choir took part in the Middlesbrough Festival, competing in two classes. They achieved joint 3rd place and a Distinction in the first, and an excellent 2nd Place in the second! Just 2 points behind the winners! Well done everyone!

Grand Spirit Draw Winter 2007 A huge thank you to everyone who sold and/or bought tickets this year. Thanks to everyone's efforts we made a great £446 for choir funds!

Summer Concerts June and July 2007 The Choir gave a formal concert at the end of June, which was very well received. It also raised an impressive £200 for choir funds, so thank you to all who contributed. The senior choir were invited to perform a short session at Picnic in the Park, in Ward Jackson Park. This was an event organised by the Soundwaves Project, and we were honoured to be involved.

New Term April 2007 Choir term starts on Thursday 19th April for the Training Choir, and on Tuesday 1st May for the Senior Choir. If you would like to join the choir, you will be very welcome. For more information, and details about how to join, visit our other pages.

Middlesbrough Competitive Festival March 16th 2007 The Training Choir took part in this year's Festival, competing in two classes. They were awarded a Certificate of Merit in the first, and an excellent 2nd Place in the second! Congratulations to all who took part!
